Refund policy

14-days Product returns

Products ordered from our online store petrisbarefoot.com have a 14-day right of return or change them in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. The 14 days is counted from the day when you have received notification that your package is available for pickup, unless otherwise stated in the product information. 

Products bought from our store in Jyväskylä, Finland, naturally have the same right of return from the moment of purchase.


NOTE! Read this first! 

Have you tried a (thick-soled) barefoot shoe without an insole? It often alone solves the space challenge of a wide/high foot, and you can also replace the original thick insole with a thin insole if you wish. Also, after some use the shoe always grows slightly especially width and even length (less) - leather shoes adapt more but also textile shoes do that. 

On the other hand, shoes that come with a very thin sole, but are otherwise good, can be tuned to be significantly softer with a thicker sole.


Inform us

Before returning the order, it is highly advisable that the customer contacts our customer service at info@petrisbarefoot.com and inform of the upcoming return (change) of the products. Specify what are you returning (note that some products are not be returnable) and also if you wish the reason for the return (not mandatory). We answer you and you get specific instructions for the return (see below also).


Instructions for product returns

It is possible to make a return for all or only part of the products in the order. Note that some products are not returnable.

The returned products must be unused, in the original packaging and without defects. The seller has the right to partially or completely reduce the value of the product if the products have been used, errors have occurred, the original packaging has been lost or the products are otherwise not in the condition in which they were sold to the customer.

Use the RETURN SHIPPING DOCUMENT that comes with the product and send the product/products back to us via POSTI IN FINLAND. 

We offer free return (ONLY IN FINLAND) via Posti. So you can for example order multiple sizes and return the ones that don't fit. We offer one free return per order, so if you want to send back several products, put them in the same package and attach the return shipping document to the package. Note that we do not return the original shipping costs - we offer free product return in FINLAND via Posti, not free shipping.

NOTE! The buyer is responsible for the freight charges for product returns coming from all other countries of Europe than Finland - contact our customer service info@petrisbarefoot.com for more details.

Payment refund

The price of the product will be refunded through the payment service you use (Klarna) as soon as we have received the returned products to our Jyväskylä, Finland, store and they have been found to be in good condition.

NOTE! Sometimes, when returning a product, (especially when returning only some of the ordered products) the discount criteria for the original purchase may change from the final one (postage and newsletter discount). In this case, we provide a separate calculation that makes it easy to understand how this affects the amount of the refund.
