Lems' Primal 3 is a nice wide and light shoe to walk. Breathable and comfortable shoe. The new 3 model has a wider heel than the 2 and is no longer rounded in shape - this gives the shoe more stability than its predecessor.

On the scale of pure barefoot shoe - hybrid model - thick-soled barefoot shoe, I place the Primal 3 in the category of thick-soled barefoot shoe with its own insole. (NOTE! My own measurement tells that the thickness of the sole is 20 mm.)

Suitability for barefoot shoe beginners

The shoe is also suitable for getting used to barefoot shoes and walking with them even on asphalt, when you don't take too many kilometers at the beginning. In the future, you can also buy more thin-soled barefoot shoes or not, depending on your preferences. (Note! You can adjust the shoe by removing the insole if you wish, which will give you a feel for what a slightly thinner-soled barefoot shoe feels like.)

Suitability for experienced barefooters

The shoe may even feel too compromised for someone who wears thin soled barefoot shoes a lot? On the other hand, long shopping trips are nice and carefree with a little more cushioning underneath. You can also easily adjust the shoe by removing the insole if you wish. Primal 3 is also quite casual in appearance, so if you want to wear something other than fivefingers with jeans, this would be the Primal 3.
