On the scale of thin-soled barefoot shoe - hybrid model - minimalist shoe (l. thick-soled barefoot shoe), I count the LUCK I in the "thin-soled barefoot shoe" category.
Suitability for a child
If your child has not used barefoot shoes before, it is a good idea to tell the child about new type of a shoe at the beginning. Children get used to thin-soled shoes quickly, but it's still worth considering slightly thicker-soled sneakers for the school's or preschool's physical education class if it's on a hard surface. As a general shoe for summer, LUCK I is good and it also works at school and family parties.
