This simple, stylish and functional winter barefoot shoe can be counted as a true barefoot shoe in its own category (high-top barefoot shoes) thanks to the thinness and flexibility of the sole. On the other hand, the Winter 3.0's own excellent woolen insole provides quite a bit of additional cushioning compared to its "sister model" Nevada, which has no insulation and a very thin insole.

A decent winter shoe also for very bitter cold! It won't get cold if you move a little bit and wear a woolen sock no matter what the weather. Leather as a material already naturally repels water, and in addition, the Winter 3.0 has a membrane inside the shoe. It's been tested, it doesn't leak as long as you pull the laces tighter if the conditions are really wet.

On the scale of pure barefoot shoe - hybrid model - thick-soled barefoot shoe, I count the Winteri 3.0 in the "hybrid shoe" category. A thicker sock and also snow in winter means more cushioning.

Suitability for barefootshoe beginners:

If you are able to moderately increase the amount of daily use (walking), you can adopt Winters as your first barefoot shoes. However, avoid heavy heel striking because the rubber of the sole is not the most cushioning - even if the thickness of the shoe with the insole is quite reasonable (around 13 mm alltogether).

Test different models at the beginning and talk to the barefoot experts!

Suitability for experienced barefooters:

Winter 3.0 is a elegant high cut waterproof winter boot and it has a genuine barefoot shoe feeling! It works both on the street and off-road in snow when you tie your shoe laces tightly. A great barefoot winter shoe even for the Finnish cold!
