This simple, timeless and gorgeous leather casual barefoot shoe (can also be used as a dress shoe) can be considered a real barefoot shoe thanks to the thinness of the sole: 8 mm with the insole. The sole is not particularly absorbing material, but with a thicker insole you can play a lot! We recommend Be Lenka's own 6 mm ActiveBoost replacement insole!
On the scale of a pure barefoot shoe - hybrid model - thick-soled barefoot shoe, I count Cityscape in the "pure barefoot shoe" category.
Suitability for Barefoot Beginners:
I don't recommend the Cityscape as your first barefoot shoe. Cityscape is often purchased when looking for stylish dress shoes, so at least you should have other, more cushioning barefoot shoes in your wardrope. Note! with a thicker insole, you can change the characteristics of the shoe more cushioned direction. Test different models at the beginning and ask advice from the barefoot shoe experts!
Suitability for experienced barefooters:
Go for it! There's something in the Cityspace in their appearance (they definitely don't look like Fivefingers) and a real barefoot feel! Works great on the city streets! Timeless elegance!
