These shoes are made from premium Nubuck leather with a fleece lining that can withstand even colder temperatures. The practical zipper on the inside makes putting on and taking off a breeze. And with their unisex design, you can easily match them with different outfits.

PETRI'S PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

This elegant and functional mid-season barefoot shoe (and if you adjust, winter barefoot shoe also) can be considered a true barefoot shoe in its own category (high-top barefoot shoes) thanks to the thinness and flexibility of the sole. Atlas's own fleece insole provides a little more cushioning to the sole - you can also add more flexibility and warmth to the shoe by putting on thicker insoles underneath.

This leather barefoot shoe with a side zipper slips on comfortably and effortlessly even when getting dressed is more difficult than usual. Winter use is fine with a woolen insole and wool socks, even in colder weather. Leather as a material naturally repels water, which makes Atlas functional and waterproof in normal rain and slush just fine. You can increase water resistance by spraying it with a protective spray regularly. See our accessories.

On the scale of pure barefoot shoe - hybrid model - thick-soled barefoot shoe, I would classify the Atlas as a "pure barefoot shoe" with its own sole and as a hybrid with a slightly thicker sole.

SIZE TIP: consider having Atlas with some 15-20 mm of extra length (normal 10-15 mm), especially if your instep is any higher than normal - the shoe is not tallest in its toe space but wide of course. The leather will stretch with use if needed pretty much though.

Suitability for barefoot shoe beginners:

Equipped with a thicker insole and if you are able to moderately increase the amount of daily use (walking), Atlas can be used as a first barefoot shoes if your physique (avoid hard heelstrike) is enough - however, thicker-soled models are a safer and better option for barefoot novices.
