Zing is a good-looking barefoot sneaker that complements our sneaker range by offering a more cushioned alternative to many Be Lenka's other models. Zing Fresh is a vegan model from the Zing collection, a "ready-to-wear" and breathable summer shoe that can handle a little cooler weather also.
On the scale of pure barefoot shoe - hybrid model - thick-soled barefoot shoe, I count the Zing as "hybrid" when used with its own insole.
Suitability for barefoot shoe beginners:
If you can slowly increase the amount of daily use (your steps), then you can take Zings as first barefoot shoes - remember that patience is the key! Test different models and ask advice from the barefoot shoe experts!
Suitability for experienced barefooters
Zings are easy going even on slightly longer walks. Clearly more of the feel of a standard sneaker in terms of the thickness and structure of the sole than e.g. in Rebound - but it's not a bad thing if you can still find toe spaces and zero drops, is it? Long shopping trips on hard platforms are not quite as much of training as with more pure barefoot shoes. Take it easy for a while!

Barefoot properties:
- Anatomic shape – The sneaker respects the shape of the feet. It creates roomy space for toes during movement, it prevents toes from being pressed or developing calluses.
- Material flexibility – The flexible sole enables necessary movement. The feet are not restricted and strengthen naturally.
- Zero-drop – The heel and front of the shoe are levelled. Thanks to this, the body posture and overall correction of the centre of gravity are improved
- Adaptive sole – 4 mm thick (without protrusions) stimulates nerve endings. It strengthens balance, and awareness of terrain and it protects the feet
- Lightweight – The Barberics sneakers are lightweight and with no arch, which prevents leg fatigue and supports the correct walking stereotype.
