PETRI'S PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Barebarics Element is a soft, good-looking and -feeling and functional combination of a barefoot sneaker and a barefoot boot! What makes it a sneaker is the softness of the shoe and the slightly thicker outsole (same as in the Zing model) and on the other hand, the cut and color of the leather and the height of the shaft are "the boots of the shoe". If you want a stylish sneaker that is not afraid of water and humidity and slightly cooler weather, here is one for you!

On the scale of pure barefoot shoe - hybrid model - thick-soled barefoot shoe, I consider the Element to be a hybrid when used with its own insole. If you remove the insole it gives the shoe more barefoot feeling.

Suitability for barefoot beginners:

If you are able to slowly increase the amount of daily use (your steps) in a sufficiently moderate manner, then you can take Element as first barefoot shoes - remember that patience is the key! Test different models and ask advice from the barefoot shoe experts!

Suitability for experienced barefooters:

The Element is carefree even on slightly longer walks and water does not get inside the shoe! Clearly more of a standard sneaker feel in terms of the thickness and structure of the sole than in thinner barefoot shoes - but is that a bad thing if you can find good toe space and zero drop? Long shopping trips on hard platforms are not quite as much of "sports performance" as with thin soled barefoot shoes. Take it easy for a while!

Materials used:

Barebarics sneakers are produced using processes that minimize the impact on the environment.

• The upper is made from Nubuck leather with a hydrophobic treatment that repels water very well
• The lining of the shoe is made from Dermodry Coolmax® technical fabric, which enables constant moisture drainage
• The sole is made from soft synthetic rubber with high wear-and-tear resistance
• The removable insole comprises PU recycled material and microfiber, which provides excellent breathability and keeps your feet dry

Barefoot properties

• Anatomic shape – The sneaker respects the shape of the feet. It creates roomy space for toes during movement, it prevents toes from being pressed or developing calluses
• Material flexibility – The flexible sole enables necessary movement. The feet are not restricted and strengthen naturally
• Zero-drop – The heel and front of the shoe are levelled. Thanks to this, the body posture and overall correction of the centre of gravity are improved
• Adaptive sole – 4 mm thick (without protrusions) stimulates nerve endings. It strengthens balance, and awareness of the terrain and it protects the feet
• Lightweight – The Barberics sneakers are lightweight and with no arch, which prevents leg fatigue and supports the correct walking stereotype
